Bridlewood Academy is a tuition free public charter school, and the records of how we operate belong to the families and taxpayers who support us. This page brings together the documents South Carolina law requires us to publish, in one place.
Documents are posted as they are approved and are updated throughout the school year. If you cannot find what you are looking for, or need a record in another format, contact us at info@bridlewoodacademy.net and we will help.
School board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm on the Bridlewood Academy campus, unless otherwise noted. Board agendas are posted at least 24 hours before each meeting, and approved minutes are posted after each meeting. Current board bylaws and policies are available below, along with notice of school board elections, which is posted at least 30 days in advance.
As a public charter school, we’re funded by taxpayers — and we take that responsibility seriously. Below are links to our budgets, audits, and financial documents, available for any family or community member to review. Information regarding any school debt the school acquires can be found in the Annual Budget.
Bridlewood Academy’s annual independent audit is prepared after the close of each fiscal year and posted once it has been completed and accepted by the board. Bridlewood Academy opened in August 2026, and its first audit will cover the 2026-27 fiscal year, to be published in the fall of 2027.
Bridlewood Academy does not hold any school credit cards. If that changes, statements will be posted here monthly.
Bridlewood Academy publishes the policies that govern how we treat our students and our staff. These include the procedures a teacher may use to raise a grievance or contest a termination, and the rights, responsibilities, and discipline standards that apply to students, including the process for a hearing before the board.
The South Carolina Department of Education publishes an annual report card for every public school, including assessment results and an overall rating. Bridlewood Academy’s first report card will reflect the 2026-27 school year and will be posted once it is released in the fall of 2027, along with an explanation of how the ratings are calculated.
SC READY assessment results for students now enrolled at Bridlewood Academy are available on the SC Department of Education website.
Families deserve to know exactly how their school operates. The notices and policies below are required by state and federal law, and we keep them current and easy to find. If anything here raises a question, reach out to the front office.
