SC READY Results

Each spring, South Carolina students in grades 3 through 8 take the SC READY tests in reading and math, and students in grades 4 and 6 also take the SC READY science test. These tests measure how well students have learned the state’s standards for their grade. Every student lands in one of four levels: Does Not Meet, Approaches, Meets, or Exceeds Expectations. When we report the percent who “Met or Exceeded,” we mean students working at or above grade level.

One School, A New Name

Why does the report card say Horse Creek Academy Kershaw?

Bridlewood Academy is the new name of our school. The 2025-26 report card covers our final year as Horse Creek Academy Kershaw, so the state still lists it under that name. Same school, same school ID, same principal.
